Glass pictures

 

Fused glass pictures in the 'Celestial Bodies' series, these were launched earlier this year at the British Trade Craft Fair. I am now selling fused glass pictures direct to the public through my Etsy shop. These art glass pictures are a combination of fused iridescent glass and abstract hand painted techniques.

Fused glass pictures are one of a kind, they are framed using solid light wood frame and an off white backing board.
 
The nature of these art glass pictures means they are best hung opposite a light source, like a window, or an electric light source as this picks up the iridescence. The colours in the picture change depending on lighting conditions, each glass painting is unique.

As you can imagine iridescent glass is very difficult to photograph.
